Having worked with many centers and teachers like you we have been able to compile a list of questions and answers to help ease you through the process. Questions Frequently Asked By Teachers

Does SproutCare Solutions require me to work a certain number of days or hours?

When you submit your information, we will document your availability, and preferred days and times of work. SproutCare Solutions is flexible and can work with your schedule; there is no set number of days or hours you are required to work.

What Qualifications do I need to work with SproutCare Solutions?

Qualifications for employment at SproutCare Solutions vary by position.

  • All require at least a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Paperwork required by ODJFS (completed at hire) including, but not limited to, a statement of non-conviction and background checks.
  • Experience and/or education in the Early Education field is a plus.

Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, etc. are a plus.

What pay can I expect working as a substitute teacher?

SproutCare offers highly competitive pay and benefits.

What Child Care Centers will I be working in?

SproutCare Solutions works with Early Childhood Preschools, and charter schools throughout the Central Ohio Area.

Do I sign a contract with SproutCare Solutions?

When you become an employee with SproutCare Solutions, you are still free to substitute for schools, centers and preschools not serviced by SproutCare Solutions.

How do I get paid through SproutCare Solutions?

Immediately upon accepting employment, the new employee will be given federal and state tax forms. All employees are paid every week on Friday and it will be directly deposited into their account. Each paycheck will include earnings for all work performed through the end of the previous payroll period. Your pay stub will be emailed to you each pay period unless it is previously discussed with the management team.

What does it cost to be a child care center partner?

There is no charge to become a partner. All we need is the proper forms filled out and we can start assisting you immediately.

How far will your subs travel?

Our goal is for our subs to travel the least distance possible. We take many things into consideration when selecting a sub, and this is one.

What can I expect to pay for a substitute teacher?

This depends on the position you are hiring for. Our pricing is competitive and hiring a substitute teacher short-term will prevent your center from losing revenue or even missing out on it.

How long will it take to become a SproutCare Solutions partner to begin getting subs?

The entire process is very easy! Upon meeting with a SproutCare rep, all you need to do is sign a few papers and you can immediately request subs!

Does SproutCare Solutions perform background checks?

Yes, SproutCare Solutions performs a FBI/BCI fingerprint background check.

Are we responsible for paying taxes?

SproutCare Solutions is responsible for the employee’s taxes for the duration of their employment. If a School/Center shall choose to hire one of our Teachers, they become responsible for the taxes moving forward.
